The 2023 BGCT Chaplain Training Event hosts 16 hours of Continuing Education for pastors, chaplains, their spouses, and invited guests. Training highlights include leadership, Baptist distinctives, Moral Injury and Storytelling, palliative care workshops, chaplain ministry and LGBTQ+, chaplain theology, Disaster Spiritual Care, correctional issues, healthcare Board Certification training, and endorser updates.
On behalf of Baptist Chaplaincy Relations, it is our pleasure to invite your ministry/organization to exhibit at the 2023 Chaplain Training Event being held at the Shearer Hills Baptist Church, 12615 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio, TX 78216. The meeting dates are Tuesday - Friday, September 12-15, 2023. We have a goal of 200 chaplains, pastors, spouses, and visitors for this meeting. Complete and submit the exhibitor registration form online by August 14, 2023.

The Chaplain Training Event takes place at the Shearer Hills Baptist Church in San Antonio near the airport. You can stay at any hotel in the area.
If you prefer, we have a negotiated rate of $159 a night at the Menger Hotel next to the Alamo. You can also use this rate three days prior and three days after the event (you need to call the hotel to get these extra days). You need to reserve a room by September 1st, 2023, to secure the rate. Parking at the Menger is $25 a day.
