Conductor and composer, Dr. Tim Sharp, is Minister of Music at Immanuel Baptist Church, Nashville, TN. Tim conducts the Nashville Concert Chorale, Gateway Chorale, and his professional recording and performance ensemble Kentucky Harmony. Tim has authored 18 books, and has over 300 songs in print. His masters and doctoral work was completed at The School of Church Music, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY. A graduate of Bluefield University and Belmont University, Tim returned to his alma mater, Belmont University where he was the Director of Choral Activities. Dr. Sharp was Executive Director of the American Choral Directors Association for thirteen years. He has conducted university, church, community, and all-state honor choirs across the world. Tim recently conducted at Carnegie Hall (his 10th time) for the 50th anniversary concert of Celebrate Life with a 200-voice choir and full orchestra. Tim and his wife Jane live on their farm just outside of Nashville, TN, with their Labrador Retriever ‘Darby’ where he prepares his music, farms, and raises cows, goats, chickens, and alpacas.
