Summer Mission 1

  • Location: Waco, TX
    BOUNCE returns to the home of Dr. Pepper, Magnolia Market at the Silos, and Baylor University for another opportunity to improve quality of life for people living in substandard housing. Once again, we are partnering with Grassroots Community Development for this community rehab effort.
  • Scope of the Work: Construction Missions. May include, but is not limited to drywall, flooring, siding, roofing, painting, demolition, debris removal, and more.

Summer Mission 2
June 12 - 17, 2023 (Monday - Saturday)

  • Mission Type: Disaster Recovery
  • Location: Port Arthur, TX
    Often referred to as the Golden Triangle of Texas, Jefferson County was particularly hit hard from the flood waters of Hurricane Harvey in August of 2017. Areas of Port Arthur and Beaumont were particularly devastated during the storm. BOUNCE has served the area numerous times partnering with Jefferson County Long-Term Recovery and First Baptist Church of Nederland.
  • Scope of the Work: Construction Missions. May include, but is not limited to drywall, flooring, siding, roofing, painting, demolition, debris removal, and more.

Summer Mission 3
June 19 - 24, 2023 (Monday - Saturday)

  • Mission Type: Disaster Recovery
  • Location: Lake Charles, LA
    After a successful 2022 mission to Lake Charles, BOUNCE will return to the area in 2023 to continue recovery efforts from Hurricanes Laura and Delta that devastated the area in a six-week period during 2020. BOUNCE will once again partner with Southwest Louisiana Responds to assist storm victims in their recovery efforts.

Summer Mission 4
June 26 - July 1, 2023 (Monday - Saturday)

  • Mission Type: Disaster Recovery/Community Rehab
  • Location: Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico
    The island of Puerto Rico has been affected by several natural disasters in the last few years. That coupled with a need for repairs to substandard housing on the island has led BOUNCE to return to assist ministry partners in construction efforts. More details will be available in the future, but the plan is to serve in the Juana Diaz area of the island.
    *Mission begins on Monday, June 26, but there may be an opportunity for groups to arrive on Sunday, June 25. More details will come on this opportunity.

June 27 - July 2, 2023 (Tuesday - Sunday)

  • Location: Houston, TX area
    BOUNCE is excited to return to the Houston area in partnership with Texas Baptist Church Starting and First Baptist Church of Kingwood to connect student youth groups with area church plants to for a week of ministry. In addition to hands-on ministry, students will be trained in principles of church planting and evangelism techniques during the mission.
  • Scope of the Work: Work may include but is not limited to activities such as Bible/Kids Clubs, sports camps, Scripture distribution, surveys, prayer walking, park ministry, light construction, community service, Vacation Bible School, block parties, or other activities that support the ministry of the church plants.

Summer Mission 6
July 10 - 15, 2023 (Monday - Saturday)

  • Cost: $289
  • Mission Type: Disaster Recovery/Community Rehab
  • Location: Southeast Houston, TX
  • Scope of the Work: BOUNCE heads to Southeast Houston to assist with recovery efforts from the recent tornados that affected over 500 homes in the area. Some Harvey homes may also be a part of the recovery process.

    The Pacific Northwest, known for scenic views and great coffee is the destination for this exciting BOUNCE Church Planting Opportunity. We will partner with Northwest Baptist Church Planting and Texas Baptist Starting for this mission effort around the Seattle area.
  • Scope of the Work: Work may include but is not limited to activities such as Bible/Kids Clubs, sports camps, Scripture distribution, surveys, prayer walking, park ministry, light construction, community service, Vacation Bible School, block parties, or other activities that support the ministry of the church plants.
