It has been a crazy start to BOUNCE in Puerto Rico, but it has also been so amazing!! Flights went a little long, roads have been a bit winding, weather is so refreshing, and the island is gorgeous! There are two churches (First Baptist Church of Shallowater and First Baptist Church of Marble Falls) that traveled to Puerto Rico, there are also five students from Iglesia Bautista El Mesias that have come to work as BOUNCERS and translators for our Texas BOUCNERS. Iglesia Bautista El Mesias is the church that BOUNCE has partnered with on this journey to Puerto Rico and we are so thankful for their hospitality, kindness, and heart to serve everyone on this island! BOUNCE is so excited about how we can restore hope, repair communities, and reflect Christ in all that we do!
Please be praying for the BOUNCERS as they started their hard work today and also be praying for opportunities to share the love of Christ, no matter what language barrier exists! "After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sites on the throne, and to the Lamb!" Revelation 7:9-10 (ESV). We are all God's children and BOUNCE is so excited to reflect Christ in all that we do this week in Puerto Rico!!
