BOUNCE is so excited to introduce four new interns for the summer that will help mobilize students to travel to different disaster recovery locations and communities, and also church planting opportunities.
Clayton Cooper (left) is the Audio/Visual Specialist for the summer. He is currently attending Western Governors University for IT management to go into Broadcast Production. Clayton's prayer request is that "the student's hearts would be prepared for the work we will be doing this summer."
Kylie Johnson (middle left), who is the Missions Administrative Specialist for the summer. She recently graduated from Howard Payne with a bachelors in cross-cultural studies and beginning in August will be a missionary in Honduras for a year. Also, it is her 22nd birthday today! A prayer request from Kylie is "For the students to fall in love with missions and would understand how big of an impact it has on their Christian life."
Sydney Johnson (middle right) is the Communication Missions Specialist this summer and is also a recent graduate. She has a degree in psychology from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) and will be returning to SHSU to be a Campus Missionary Intern with the Baptist Student Ministry. Sydney has a prayer request "For the students to be excited and informed about mission opportunities at home, in Texas, and around the world by the end of their BOUNCE experience."
Grant Doyle (right) is the worship leader for the summer. He is attending Texas A&M for construction science to go into construction management. A prayer request he has is that "God would allow me to get out of the way for the students to have a God experience."
All the interns have been enjoying training throughout this week and are so excited to be working with BOUNCE along side BGCT to further God's kingdom, while working with students this summer. Stay updated with all the God is doing through BOUNCE over the summer by coming to check this blog each week!
